Burnley Business Donate Computer to SafeNet Residents

P3 Computer Services Ltd in Burnley has kindly donated a refurbished computer package to SafeNet Domestic Abuse and Support Services after hosting an online competition.

After P3 Computer Services Ltd asked the public to nominate a charity, community group or cause of their choice via social media, SafeNet Domestic Abuse and Support Services were named as one of three winners, alongside Pendle Dogs in Need and White Horse Project Rossendale.

Jozef Kinder, Director at P3 Computer Services Ltd said: “We had a number of machines that still had life in them and we hate to see things like this being disposed of.

“We put together a package containing a refurbished PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse and then asked the general public on social media to recommend local causes who should receive these units.

“With such an overwhelming response we decided to split and offer them to the top three recommendations – SafeNet was one of them.”

Alex Atkinson, Head of Support Services at SafeNet said: “We’re incredibly grateful to P3 for gifting our residents with this fantastic new piece of equipment.

“It will really make a difference to the refuge residents, giving women greater independence.”
