Staff from across all services at Delphi Medical recently came together for Delphi Day, an annual event aimed at teambuilding, improving services for customers, and celebrating achievements.
Once a year, staff from every part of the service come together for Delphi Day, where staff get the chance to build on their existing relationships with their peers across all teams.
By joining forces, employees are able to share working practices, ensuring that the services they provide to customers are the best that they can be.
The event is also an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication staff have shown throughout the past twelve months.
This year’s Delphi Day took place at the Anderton Centre in Chorley, which provides water and land based learning and team-building activities.
In the morning, staff were joined by AFTA Thought, also part of The Calico Group, who provided training around the Group’s values, and how they can relate to the work delivered by Delphi Medical.
This was then followed by a choice of team building activities, including:
- Paddle boarding and rafting
- Tree climbing and leap of faith
- Massage and meditation.
Through the Delphi Day event, staff have had the opportunity to learn more about working behaviours at The Calico Group, and have been able to develop new ways of working closer together.
Established in 2007, Delphi Medical is committed to providing people with support to live a life free from addiction from locations across the North West.
