Staff recently came together under one roof for our annual One Calico event – which involved two days of learning and celebration.
One Calico gives staff from across all of our various locations the opportunity to come together under one roof, bring together their wide range of specialisms, and discuss new ideas to work together to deliver a better service for customers.
The theme of this year’s One Calico event was ‘making the magic happen’ – staff were encouraged to get together, share ideas, and find ways to expand our offer, and better meet our purpose of ‘making a real difference to people’s lives’.
Employees also delivered personal, often moving presentations to help inspire their colleagues and encourage them to get help and support if needed, and to celebrate their incredible achievements and the amazing work the deliver.
Over the two days, staff took part in discussions and presentations about a range of important topics, including worklessness and training programmes, mental health, addiction and domestic abuse.
