As well as providing an opportunity to give estates from across the town a sprucing up, it also provided staff from different parts of The Calico Group to find out more about the neighbourhoods in which Calico Homes works, and to get involved in making a difference to residents lives.
Staff offered residents a helping hand to clear any litter and excess waste, trim overgrown bushes, clear moss and dead plants, plant new flowers, and chat to customers about any issues they may have.
Shaban Talib, Neighbourhood Co-Ordinator, said:
“The Big Neighbourhoods Get Together has been a fantastic success. Everyone worked incredibly hard, and the day has made a huge difference to the look of our estates. We’d like to thank all our customers who came and helped us out.”
