Calico Homes has resumed their new Investment Programme after a period of reduced activity due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Investing £3.1m into the programme, Calico Homes’ aim is to provide high quality upgrades which will refresh existing homes and contribute towards creating a positive aesthetic in the local community.
The work being carried out includes replacing bathrooms, boiler systems and kitchens, alongside roofing repairs and other external improvements.
The Brunshaw estate in Burnley has been the core focus of this most recent Investment Programme. During this time, more than 400 homes have benefited from this work.
Calico Homes is now working on a new five-year plan to extend these works across other Burnley neighbourhoods. Full details will be published and communicated with residents once finalised.
Mark Beach, Managing Director at Calico Homes, says, “We are looking forward to resuming the work and being able to provide our customers with a high-standard of refurbishments and improvements, which will benefit them both now and in the future.
“It’s great to see such a high level of investment being put into the area. I look forward to seeing the results of the programme and the benefits it brings for our customers. We will be adhering to strict health and safety standards to ensure that our colleagues and customers are safe whilst the project continues throughout the year.”
Calico Homes is always striving to improve the quality of properties and to invest in local communities, providing customers with a positive environment in which to live.
