The Board of Syncora is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Ashworth as the new Head of Care.
With more than 26 years of experience in health and social care, Jo’s career started out as a medical sales rep in 1997 selling healthcare products to nursing homes. After joining Care UK in January 2008, Jo was part of developing a portfolio of Domiciliary Care companies in the North West, eventually developing into an Area Managers role.
Jo has vast experience in managing care operations across the UK. Joining MHA in 2012 as Area Operations Manager covering the vast majority of the UK. Jo incorporated the development of new services and projects including digital care planning programmes. Before joining Syncora, Jo held the role of Retirement Lead at MHA for the last 7 years.
Syncora brings together The Calico Group’s specialist companies. As a health, care and support company, bringing together our expertise, we deliver bold new services and offer an end-to-end support for people who need it the most.
As part of the role, Jo will be the group’s specialist on all older people care services ensuring an excellent standard of service. The role will also have the responsibility of setting up and designing new services to enable Syncora to grow within care.
