Joanne Peters - Chair
As Chair of the Audit and Assurance Committee, Joanne brings 25 years’ experience working as a chartered accountant in both public and not-for-profit sectors. Strongly believing that organisations such as the Calico Group play a critical role in creating positive change and doing things differently, Joanne is passionate about innovation, addressing inequalities and the delivery of social impact.
Chris Bithell
Chris was a Divisional Commander for Lancashire Police in the Pennine, East and South Divisions until 2017 and was also the Chief Superintendent of the Blue Light Collaboration Project. Chris is also a local counsellor in Padiham.
Vincent Roche
Vinny is an experienced social housing leader who wants to be part of making Calico as good as it can be. Passionate about people and doing the right thing, Vincent wanted to be a part of Calico to support customers to have a better home and life – as we’re ‘small enough to know our customers and big enough to make a difference’.
Sallie Bridgen
As Vice Chair, Sally aims to make things better and fairer for people who face discrimination and injustice. Having worked in homelessness services and charities throughout her career, she is focused on delivering the best services possible for customers and communities. Sally is passionate about ending poverty, improving education, and tackling climate change… and she’s a qualified yoga teacher too.
Ged Gallagher
Ged brings more than 33 years of experience in housing to the table. As a self-confessed listener, he believes in working in partnership with residents, other agencies and key stakeholders to fully understand issues that people are facing. Having managed housing services across the length and breadth of Greater Manchester and Lancashire, Ged has great local knowledge and strives to use affordable housing as a foundation for individuals and families to flourish and realise their potential.
