Pathways is a new apprenticeship programme from Calico designed to help local young people build skills, confidence and experience.
We’re looking for people who are ready to learn, try something new and take the first step into their career.
You’ll get support from day one, including your own mentor, opportunities to meet different teams across Calico, and an assessment day that focuses on getting to know you rather than putting you through a traditional interview process.
What is Pathways?
Pathways is more than an apprenticeship.
It’s a chance to gain experience, learn new skills and explore different career opportunities while being supported along the way.
We know applying for jobs can feel daunting, especially if you’re leaving school, finishing college or applying for your first role. That’s why we’ve designed a programme that focuses on helping people succeed.
What you’ll get
Your own mentor
You’ll have someone there to support you, answer questions and help you settle into working life.
An assessment day instead of interviews
We’re replacing traditional interviews with an assessment day where you can meet people, take part in activities and show us what you’re capable of.
A full induction programme
You’ll learn about Calico, meet colleagues from across the Group and get a proper introduction to the organisation.
Experience different parts of Calico
You’ll get a broader understanding of the organisation and the opportunities available for your future.
Support even if you’re unsuccessful
If you’re not offered a place, we’ll still provide feedback, support and help with your next steps.
