Residents from Accrington recently visited Dovestone Gardens in Burnley to see how people are living independently, staying connected and helping shape their community. The visit also gave local people the chance to share their thoughts and ideas as plans for the future of the former Accrington Victoria Community Hospital site continue to develop.
Joined by MP Sarah Smith, visitors heard from residents and Calico colleagues, and explored the scheme to see first-hand what can happen when people, communities and partners work together.
