Delphi Medical to take on psychosocial addiction treatment services at two Lancashire prisons

Inmates at HMP Garth (Cat B) and HMP Wymott (Cat C) will soon be able to access new addiction recovery services to help them in their rehabilitation, thanks to a new service managed by Delphi Medical.

Both prisons, near Leyland, are to have their psychosocial recovery services taken on by Delphi, who are a leading provider of clinical and psychosocial addiction treatments in the UK.

Emma Knape, Company Lead at Delphi Medical, says, “We are delighted to be able to expand our services into HMP Garth and HMP Wymott”.

She continues, “We are looking forward to welcoming new staff and clients from 1st April, and to supporting both groups of people in the transfer of the service”.

Delphi are committed to providing services that deliver emotional, social and lifelong recovery. In order to achieve this for our clients we will work closely with the prisons and their wider communities, and work hard to ensure the success of our new service.
