The Calico Group celebrated its LGBT+ staff and its inclusive, ‘One Calico’ workplace ethos at this year’s Preston Pride.
Preston Pride is an annual celebration which brings together people across the North West for a day of recognition, celebration and support of our LGBT+ community.
It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate LGBT+ staff from across the Group, and to show that they can be free to be themselves and feel supported without any kind of judgement.
The Calico Group is passionate about supporting the LGBT+ community, and their “This Is Me”, group provides a safe space for LGBT+ staff to share their experiences, and to support each other wherever necessary.
This Is Me has had a big impact across the Group, opening up important conversations and increasing the visibility of LGBT+ staff.
