Residents at a Calico Homes sheltered scheme have raised £120 for Pendleside Hospice at a recent charity tea dance.
Residents from Crow Wood Court in Padiham put on their dancing shoes to take part in some gentle ballroom dancing.
Staff who took part in the 2017 charity fundraiser Calico Come Dancing were on hand to teach the residents some new routines, as well as putting on a spectacular performance of the waltz.
Residents also ran a raffle during the tea dance event, the proceeds from which they decided to donate to Pendleside Hospice.
Elaine Walsh, Independent Living Officer for Calico, said:
“The tea dance was a big success. The residents had a great time getting their dancing shoes on and having fun.
“The money they raised has gone to a fantastic course, and I’m so proud of the money our residents managed to raise.
