We provide housing for people who most need it, including families, people who live alone, older people, and people who might be at risk. We have more than 5,000 homes in an around Burnley and are always building more.
Our teams also provide support for customers when they are struggling with money or other issues, so that they can stay happy and safe in their homes.

Our supported housing offers flexible services for people with specialist needs and in the most challenging situations. We work closely with other Group companies and partners to provide an customer offer that goes much further than providing a home.
How we are dealing with damp and condensation in Calico Homes properties
We were deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of 2-year-old, Awaab Ishak, who died as result of exposure to mould in his family home. It has rightly prompted all housing providers, including everyone at Calico Homes, to reflect on the issues of damp, mould and condensation.

Dovestone Gardens - extra care
Dovestone Gardens is the first building of it’s kind in Burnley and for Calico Homes, providing 93 extra care apartments near Burnley General Hospital.
These apartments are designed for people who need extra help but still want to live independently.
We aim to create a friendly and comfortable place that people are proud to call home. That’s why we’ve been talking to the community to learn what they want from Dovestone Gardens.
